Boardwalk Mangrove Eco-Park is located in Barangay Baybay, Alubijid, Misamis Oriental. The park has mangroves which protect shorelines from damaging storm and hurricane winds, waves, and floods. Mangroves also support a number of threatened and endangered species such as sea turtles.

The Laguindingan Airport was built between Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City. From CDO, it will take about 45mins to an hour to get there depending on traffic. Ever since that airport opened, the small towns within the CDO and Laguindingan Airport are starting to grow. Small inns and tourists attractions are rising and roads are being widened.

Part of this growth is the beautiful Mangrove Eco-Park in Baybay, Alubijid Misamis Oriental. Alubijid is a town 10mins away from Laguindingan Airport and 30-45mins away from Cagayan de Oro. This time, we explored the inner part of Alubijid wherein a beautiful obscure place, escape from the city but not too far location lies waiting for people to come and enjoy the beauty of it.
